<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate transmission delay and to speed up the synchronous operation of the whole system by converting a synchronizing signal into a light signal and transmitting the synchronizing signal to respective partial circuits through optical transmission lines. CONSTITUTION:The light synchronizing signal 4 generated by a light signal generator 1 which converts the synchronizing signal into the light in which a light and a shade component succeed is transmitted to the respective partial circuits 2 through respective optical fibers 3. The respective partial circuits 2 have a photodetecting element internally and the light synchronizing signal 4 received by the photodetecting element is reconverted into an electric signal to synchronize the whole system. Thus, the optical fibers 3 which have no transmission delay are used for the transmission of the synchronizing signal necessary for fast operation, so the synchronizing signal is speeded up.</p> |
