In the process for producing sound-insulating construction elements from lightweight concrete, in particular porous concrete, the sound-insulating elements are provided with continuous channels, each sound-insulating element is pushed with its channel on to the freely downwardly hanging end of a vertical holding bar borne by a carrier and the end is joined detachably to the holding bar by means of at least one holding element. The carrier bearing a plurality of holding bars with pushed-on sound-insulating elements is brought above the casting mould in a position such that the sound-insulating elements are arranged in the casting mould at a distance from the mould walls. Then the fresh concrete material is cast into the casting mould. After the block of material has started to set, the holding bars are drawn out of it and subsequently the block of material is divided up into a plurality of construction elements by means of cuts made at a distance from the sound-insulating elements.
