The invention relates to a decorative panel, in particular for interior furnishings and furniture, which is characterised in that it is prefabricated and consists largely of a flat board (1) of solid wood or plywood which has predetermined dimensions, of two bars (2) which are provided with a groove or a notch (3) to rest against a vertical side of the board (1), of two cross-bars (4) which are provided in the same way in each case with a groove or a notch (5) to receive a horizontal side of the board (1), and of covering strips (6) and/or angle elements (7) provided with beads for attachment to the bars and the cross-strips against the board by a tongue-and-groove (8), a bonded or a nailed connection.
