Hydraulic oscillation damper for damping a bogie of a high-speed rail vehicle, which damper is connected in an articulated fashion in a horizontal arrangement on the one hand to the bogie and on the other hand to the body of the vehicle by means of attachment devices. In order to ensure the greatest possible safety utilizing the existing, restricted installation space, in which case greater than 50% safety is to be ensured even in the event of the failure of an assembly, at least one of the attachment devices is provided with a flange which securely receives at least two oscillation dampers arranged in parallel so that a single oscillation damper can be divided into two independent assemblies.
