PURPOSE:To realize a centralized control and to reduce a time and to prevent the erasing of data by fetching a check sum value obtained at each POS terminal and a file controller by a store controller, comparing said value with the check sum value of a check sum table and outputting the compared result. CONSTITUTION:The check sum values of ROMs 2 and 12 are calculated by transmitting an indication to monitor the check sum value to each of cash registers ECR1, ECR2,... and a file controller FC from a store controller SC, and the result is transmitted to the store controller SC, comparing it with the check sum value stored at a check sum table CST. And when the result is correct, version information is outputted to and displayed on a CRT display 26 and also, it is printed out at a printer 25. On the other hand, when the compared result is not coincided, an error message is outputted to and displayed on the CRT display 26, printing it at the printer 25. |
