<p>PURPOSE:To prevent erosion, foaming trouble and flooding, by removing suspended substance in an absorbing solution comprising alkanolamine by adding an anionic or cationic high-molecular flocculant to said absorbing solution. CONSTITUTION:H2S-containing gas is guided to an absorbing tower 1 and brought into contact with an aqueous slkanolamine solution to absorb and remove H2S. The H2S-absorbed absorbing solution is introduced into a flash container 3 to remove accompanied gas and guided to a regeneration tower 5 while heated by a heat exchanger 4. H2S dissipated from the regeneration tower 5 is sent to a sulfur recovery apparatus. After the regenerated absorbing solution is cooled by the heat exchanger 4, a high-molecular flocculant and higher alcohol 3 are added to the cooled solution to flocculate a suspended substance which is, in turn, collected by a mesh filter 11 and an activated carbon filter 9 while the treated solution is recirculated to the absorbing tower 1.</p> |
