PURPOSE:To prevent effectively the dew condensation of a photosensitive body which is formed by providing a photosensitive layer on a thin base plate by winding the photosensitive body around a drum covered with a heat insulator, and thus constituting a photosensitive material drum. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 2 having the photosensitive layer on the thin base plate is wound around the drum formed by covering the heat insulator around the surface of a cylindrical support member to constitute the photosensitive drum 14. Thus, heat conduction between the photosensitive body 2 and drum is cut off and the temperature of the photosensitive body becomes easy to follow up variation in ambient temperature, thereby reducing the dew condensation of the surface of the photosensitive body 2. Therefore, the unusable time of the copying operation due to dew condensation is shortened and a drying heater is not necessary, so that the power consumption is reduced. |
