PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent quality of response by generating necessary pressure through opening and closing primary and secondary solenoid valves with a pressure control device. CONSTITUTION:A booster control device 11 has a valve mechanism 19 within the housing 21 thereof for continuity to the control pressure chamber 6 of a booster mechanism 2 via a control passage 34. And a primary pressure chamber 67 is made continuous to a supply source 12 via a passage 71, a conduit 72 and a primary solenoid valve 73. Also, a branch is taken from the conduit 72 for continuity to the atmosphere via a secondary solenoid valve 74 and both of said valves 73 and 74 are controlled for opening and closing by a control device 13. And when a brake pedal 1 has been stepped down and a stepping force has been transmitted to an input shaft, the control device 13 regulates the primary and secondary solenoid valves 73 and 74 by the held of an input detecting means 14, and the pressure is controlled for stability to a secondary control pressure level corresponding to an input given to the input shaft 8.
