PURPOSE:To automatically open an account by sending a new bankbook after input of desired data, sending the input data and the image data of the seal impression to a center and opening the account with the new bankbook only when the permission is given from the center. CONSTITUTION:When a customer supplies data necessary for opening a new account through an operating part 111, a main control part 170 gives a new bankbook to the customer via a bankbook producer 120. The customer stamps his/her own seal impression on the new bankbook according to the due guidance and the image of the seal impression is read and recognized by a seal impression recognizing part 140. This image data is stored in a memory pat 143. Here a main memory part 170 complies the data stored and sent from the part 111 and the image data on the seal impression and sends an account opening request telegram to a center 200. Then the part 170 performs the processing to pay the cash for opening a new account after receiving the permission from the center 200.
