PURPOSE:To set plural types of a shift pattern, by regulating the extent of fluid signal pressure to engine load into two stages by means of a pressure regulating device being controlled by a manual operating device. CONSTITUTION:In a hydraulic mechanism of an automatic transmission, there is provided with a pressure regulating device 70 consisting of a control valve 75, a reducing valve 80, etc. These valves control the extent of fluid signal pressure to engine load as a throttle pressure. Also, there is provided with a manual operating device 90 consisting of a mode switch 92, a solenoid part 94, etc., selection of plural shift steps with the mode switch turned on or off. Therefore, plural types of a shift pattern can be set without entailing any large remodeling for the hydraulic mechanism. |
