发明名称 ALUMINUM MATERIAL AND SURFACE TREATMENT THEREOF
摘要 PURPOSE:To manufacture an Al material having improved wear resistance by forming an alumite layer on the surface of an Al alloy as a base material and implanting N<+> or the like into the surface layer part of the alumite layer to form an ion implanted layer. CONSTITUTION:An Al alloy contg. a small amount of Cu, Si, Mg, Ni or the like is used as a base material 1. An alumite layer 2 of 10-30mum thickness is formed on the surface of the base material 1 by anodic oxidation. At least one kind of ion selected among N<+>, N2<+>, B<+> and Ar<+> is implanted into the surface layer part of the alumite layer 2 to form an ion implanted layer 3 of 0.1-1mum thickness. The ion concn. is 1X10<20>-3X10<22> ions per 1cm<3>. Thus, an Al material having further improved wear resistance is obtd.
