<p>Rotary oven intended for manufacturing plaster, comprising a large rotating cylindrical tubular body (1) closed at its rear end (1a) and coaxially secured to another outer cylindrical tubular body (5) of shorter length which extends over the greater part of the central bearing surface of the said large tubular body (1), thereby delimiting, between these two bodies, an intermediate annular chamber (6) whose front end (5b) communicates with a hopper (30) which loads the material to be processed into the oven and whose rear end (5a) is in communication with the inside of the inner cylindrical tubular body (1) by means of passages (9), characterised in that the hearth (12) of the said oven is made in two parts: - on the one hand, a fixed part (12b) in which the burner (16) is installed; and - on the other hand, a moving part (12a) consisting of one of the end portions (13) of the inner cylindrical tubular body (1); the open ends (14, 15) of the two parts (12b, 12a) of the said hearth (12) being placed facing one another. <IMAGE></p> |
