<p>PURPOSE:To selectively adsorb and remove a higher fatty acid ester causing smell of oil and prevent the formation of flocks and smell of oil, by bringing a distilled liquor into contact with an adsorbent prepared by treating silica with an organosilane compound. CONSTITUTION:A distilled liquor is brought into contact with an adsorbent prepared by treating silica with an organosilane compound, preferably containing at least one 14-20C alkyl group. Preferably, the amount of the adsorbent to be used is 100-3,000ppm based on the distilled liquor.</p> |
