PURPOSE:To provide a safe skin-beautifying cosmetic having excellent anti- suntan effect and skin-beautifying effect and free from the side effect such as leucoderma caused by cytotoxicity, by using 2-deoxy-glucose as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective skin-beautifying cosmetic contains 2-deoxy-glucose of formula in an amount of 0.001-10wt% (preferably 0.1-5%). The cosmetic has excellent anti-suntan effect and skin-beautifying effect and can be used safely without causing troubles of leucoderma because the cosmetic is almost free from cytotoxicity in contrast with hydroquinone. It is applied in the forms of beauty wash, cream, pack. etc. |
