PURPOSE:To improve magnetism, mechanical strength and heat resistance, by blending a chlorinated polyethylene, magnetic powder, hydrotalcite and a lead oxide. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. chlorinated polyehtylene, 600-1,500pts.wt. magnetic powder, 0.5-5.0pts.wt. hydrotalcite and 0.5-5.0pts.wt. lead oxide are blended. The chlorinated polyethylene which is non-crystalline and has a chlorine content of 25-45wt% is preferred and can be obtd. by chlorinating polyethylene powder or particle in an aq. suspension. Examples of the magnetic powder are barium ferrite, strontium ferrite and flat ferrite obtd. from iron hydroxide. Examples of the hydrotalcite are those of the formula (wherein Me is Al, Cr, Fe; a is 1-10; b is 1-5; c is 10-20; M is 1-8). As the lead oxide, lead monoxide is particularly preferred. |
