PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent resistance to impact and heat distortion, by melt-mixing a modified ethylene/propylene block copolymr, glass fiber and an ethylene/propylene rubber and pelletizing the mixture. CONSTITUTION:55-77wt% modified ethylene/propylene block copolymer (A) having an MI of 3-9g/10min (230 deg.C, 2,160g) and contg. 3-15wt% ethylene and 0.05-3wt% unsaturated carboxylic acid, wherein at least part of the copolymer is graft-modified with an unsaturated carboxylic acid (e.g. acrylic acid), glass fiber (B) having a diameter of 8-15mu a length of pref. 2-15mm and a surface treated with a surface treating agent (e.g. vinyltriethoxysilane) and 5-15wt% ethylene/propylene rubber (C) having an ethylene content of 60-85wt% and a Mooney viscosity (ML1+4, 100 deg.C) of 60-80 are melt-kneaded. The mixture is pelletized to obtain the titled compsn. in the form of a pellet, wherein glass fibers having an average length of 500mu or above are dispersed. |
