Provided are new compounds having valuable therapeutic activity. These compounds are of the formula: <IMAGE> and salts thereof, wherein X=O, S or NR2; Z=(CHR3)nC(R3))OH)-, <IMAGE> -CH3=CH3CR3(OH)-, or -(CHR3)n', M=-O-, -S-, or <IMAGE> Z1 is an alkylene chain of 0-5 carbon atoms in the principal chain and a total of 7 carbon atoms; R1 is H, phenyl, naphthyl or a sulfur, nitrogen or oxygen-heterocyclic ring; R2 is H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl; R3 is H or CH3; n=0-5; and n'=1-5.
