PURPOSE:To reduce working time and improve safety through permitting an optical axis position regulating operation without necessity to place a magnet on a magnet table, by using as means for regulating the magnetic optical axis position an optical axis fixture having the same positional relationship with the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A burner head 4 connected to a chamber holder 2 and aburner chamber 3 is disposed on a sample holder 1. A magent 7 is disposed outside the burner head 4 is order to apply a magnetic field to the flames formed at the top of the burner head 4. In case of carrying out the operation for regulating the optical axis position of the magnet 7, an optical axis fixture 16 having substantially the same dimensions as the magnet 7 is installed on a cylindrical body 17 fixed to a magnet holder 11 by means of counter-sunk screws 19, and regulation is effected thorugh regulating screws 14 while observing with naked eyes so that an optical axis 12 coincides with the center of an optical axis hole 20. Then, the optical axis fixture 16 is upwardly drawn out, the magnet is fitted instead to complete the magnet optical axis position regulating operation. Thereby, it is possible to accurately and speedily perform the magnet optical axis position regulating operation. |
