<p>Imidazo derivatives of the formula <IMAGE> in which one or two of the radicals A, B, C or D represent a nitrogen atom, another of the radicals A, B, C or D represents a hydroxymethine group and the remainder of the radicals A, B, C or D represent methine groups, where one of these methine groups, if it is next to a nitrogen atom, can be replaced by a hydroxymethine group or by a methine group substituted by an alkylmercapto group, R1 and R2, together with two carbon atoms of the phenyl ring lying between them, represent a phenyl ring which is optionally substituted by an alkoxy group and R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group or one of the radicals R1, R2 or R3 represents a hydroxyl, phenyl, alkoxy, alkylmercapto, alkylsulphinyl, amino, alkylsulphonyloxy, sulphamyl, alkylaminosulphonyl, dialkylaminosulphonyl, alkylsulphonamido, N-alkylalkylsulphonamido, cyano, aminocarbonyl, alkylaminocarbonyl or dialkylaminocarbonyl group or, if R2 and R3 do not simultaneously represent hydrogen atoms or if A, B, C and D together with the imidazole ring do not represent imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-6(5H)-ones, imidazo[1,2-c]pyrimidin-5(6H)-ones and 5-alkylmercaptoimidazo[1,2-c]pyrimidin-7(8H)-ones, also denote an alkoxy or alkylsulphonyl group, a second of the radicals R1, R2 or R3 denotes a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl or alkoxy group and the last of the radicals R1, R2 or R3 denotes a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group, their tautomers and their acid addition salts, in particular their physiologically tolerated acid addition salts with inorganic or organic acids. The novel compounds have useful pharmacological properties, in particular antithrombotic and cardiovascular properties such as a cardiotonic action and/or an action on the blood pressure, and can be prepared by processes known per se.</p> |
