PURPOSE:To attain an easy-to-understand operation for a novice by obtaining average photometry at a non-AE lock position at the time of photographing with natural light, spot photometry at an AE lock position and the average photometry at photographing with flashed light. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with an AE lock switch 6 munually operated prior to a shutter release operation, a signal output means 20 commanding which photographing is executed, the natural photographing or the flashed light one, and a photometry value selecting means 24 switching the average photometry and the spot photometry in accordance with the switching operation of the AE lock switch 6 and the output signal of a signal output means 20. At the AE lock position, the AE lock photographing is always executed. Simultaneously the spot photometry and the average photometry are executed at the AE lock position and at the non AE lock position. At the time of flashed light photographing, the average photometry is attained in spite of the switching operation of the AE lock switch. |
