PURPOSE:To enable the measurement of the geometrical center of a superconductive coil in the state of ultra-low temperature by a method wherein a measuring rod is provided on the outer circumference and in axial direction of a superconductive coil respectively. CONSTITUTION:The axial direction measuring rod 8, to be used to measure the center in axial direction of a superconductive coil, and the radial direction measuring rod 9 to be used to measure the center of radial direction are fixed to the superconductive coil. Said rods 8 and 9 are projected from a vacuum case 3 through bellows. For example, the center of coil is computed in the state of normal temperature, for example, the measurement A is measured, then the measurement A is measured in the state of ultra-low temperature, and how many milimeters are deviated in what direction from the staet of normal temperature can be measured accurately.
