PURPOSE:To make processing of shifting, contracting, enlarging and rotation in 1-2 vertical periods by sampling picture information sent out from a frame buffer in display, giving addresses anew to stored ones, and storing them in a frame buffer standing by. CONSTITUTION:On receiving a command to rotate, a center address of a picture to be rotated and extent of rotation from a display processor 20, a command interpreting device 26 forms data sample addresses successively and sends them to a comparator 28. On the other hand, a picture address indicator 24 sends the address display outputted at present to the comparator 28. When the two addresses coincide, the comparator 28 issues a command to a latch circuit 30 to sample output of a frame buffer 14a in display. The latched data are held by a data buffer 46 and stored in a data buffer 14b being on standby by the address supplied anew by the command interpreting device 26. |
