PURPOSE:To enhance the yield of material and enable cost reduction by press- forming a pair of fitting plates for fitting an elastic body from a single raw material. CONSTITUTION:A rubber vibration isolator 10 to be fitted on the body of a car has an elastic body 16 of almost cylindrical shape, and on the inner circumferential side and outer circumferential side of this elastic body 16, a small fitting plate 26 and a large fitting plate 12 are fitted respectively. In these small fitting plate 26 and large fitting plate 12, first, the small fitting plate 26 is punched out from a single raw material, and then from the raw material after it has been punched out, the large fitting plate 12 is formed. Accordingly, the yield of raw material is enhanced, and cost reduction can be achieved. |
