PURPOSE:To improve an electric output by flatly etching a silicon surface under a surface electrode, and texture-etching other silicon surfaces to reduce a leakage current and an ohmic loss. CONSTITUTION:A black solar battery cell 3 is formed by etching on another silicon surface 4b except a silicon surface 4a under a surface electrode 5 in a texture state. The electrode 5 is formed in a pectinated state, and a silicon surface 4a is flatly etched under the electrode 5. To manufacture the cell 3 thus constructed, the silicon surface 4a corresponding to the electrode 5 and the other silicon surface 4b are selectively etched by photoetching technique, and an oxidizing technique is suitably used as a surface treatment. The contacting area S2 of the electrode 5 and the surface 4a is reduced, an effective electrode thickness t2 can be readily increased, and a current passage l2 can be shortened. |
