A trigger mechanism for automatic hand-held firearms with hammer percussion priming, wherein the hammer (3) is cocked as the bolt returns, a locking lever (5), which is controlled by the bolt, and a release slider (7), which is operable against spring force by the trigger, are associated with the hammer, and an interrupter (9), which acts as an intercepting lever for the hammer only along about onehalf of the displacement of the slider, is movably mounted in the slider (7), characterized in that means for limiting the number of rounds are provided and consist of a disc (10), which is movable in the release slider (7) and formed with locking recesses (10a to 10c) and additionally with locking teeth (10d) for cooperation with a spring-loaded locking pawl (11), which disc, when the release slider (7) is in a rear position when viewed in the shooting direction, is rotatable by an engagement of successive locking recesses (10a to 10c) by the hammer, and in which disc the last locking recess (10c) in the direction of rotation is designed as a notch for intercepting the cocked hammer (3).</p> |
