The equipment collects oil drained from the engine sump, gearbox, rear axle etc. of a car. It comprises a funnel (1) with flexible outlet hose (10) on a swing arm composed of one or more parallelogram linkages (4,4'). - Each linkage contains one or more diagonal tension springs (6,6'), so that the funnel can be secured in the desired position in relation to the sump etc. The long sides of the linkages can comprise tubular profiled members, on which channel-section members forming the short sides hinge. The U-shaped channel are hingedly mounted on a vertical azis, in use.
