PURPOSE:To surely judge knocking, by providing a filter means allowing specified frequency components alone to pass therethrough, and a microcomputer for compensating the ignition timing of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A filter circuit 2 allows predetermined frequency components of a detection signal from a knocking detector 1 to pass therethrough. a comparator 5 compares a detection signal with an output signal from a resistance rudder 7, which is obtained by D-A conversion of a digital signal from a microcomputer 6. The microcomputer 6 compensates the ignition timing in accordance with the result of judgment of knocking, delivers a signal to the resistance rudder 7, and also delivers a signal to an ignition device including ignitors. Thus, there is no risk of erroneous judgment, thereby it is possible to surely judge knocking. |
