PURPOSE:To prevent a transmission chamber side from causing an oil shortage, by providing a valve, which closes an inflow port of oil only when its temperature is in a predetermined value or less, in the inflow port of oil in a transaxle case. CONSTITUTION:A transaxle case provides an oil inflow port 24 in a wall part 22 between a transmission chamber 12 and a differential gear chamber 14. The oil inflow port 24 provides a valve device 28 comprising a cylinder 30, valve unit 34 and a shape memory alloy made spring 36. Accordingly, the transaxle case, when it is in a low temperature, actuates the valve device 28 so as to close the oil inflow port to the differential gear chamber. Consequently, the transaxle case prevents generation of a trouble causing an oil shortage in a side of the transmission chamber due to accumulation of oil in the differen tial gear chamber.
