<p>A weft yarn metering device for weft inserters in multished weaving machines, which are inserted into the wave shed by means of a pull band 2, comprises a metering mechanism for winding the measured lengths of weft yarn on to the inserter bobbins 17 from the weft yarn supply. The metering mechanism is constituted by a system of carrier wheels 1, provided each with a pair of metering mechanisms 5, 6, which is arranged at least at one side of the multished weaving machine, a drawing-in mechanism 3 or 15 for a pair of weft yarns being attached thereto, and arranged in the axis of each of the carrier wheels, which are partially contacted by the pull band with the inserters, the weft yarn supply 14 being arranged on a stationary creel. <IMAGE></p> |
