The equipment consists of an arc furnace; a post-combustion chamber communicating with the pre-heating site where ladles of scrap are fed in through pipe and linked to the dust extraction circuit by valve and pipe; a pump for fume circulation, whose outlet is connected to two pipes; a control system which controls the opening and closing of valves and a furnace pressure control device consisting of valve and pressure regulating system.
