PURPOSE:To provide a compact engine space by equalize duct resistance between an intake port of each cylinder and a carburetor and disposing the carburetor on the side of a cylinder unit. CONSTITUTION:In a multicylinder engine, a carburetor 29 is disposed at the side of a first cylinder rather than at the central portion between two cylinders. And distance L1 between the carburetor 29 and an air intake port 47a of the first cylinder side is shorter than distance L2 between the carburetor 29 and an air intake port 47b of the second cylinder side. Also, the length of a air feed path 48a formed between the carburetor 29 and the air intake port 47a of the first cylinder side is longer than the distance L1 while the difference between said length and the distance is larger than that between the length of the intake path 48b of the second cylinder side and the distance L2. That is, the duct resistance of intake path of each cylinder is equalized to each other so that fresh air can be uniformly supplied to each cylinder. |
