The stationary grinding plate (11) with a circular periphery and specific axial length is made to rotate, and the drilling crowns are pushed past it in a direction crossways to its radial plane. In this manner, the chisel cutter one side is in contact with the grinding plate during its passage. The centre of gravity of the drilling crown moves along a curve with varying curvature radius as it passes the grinding plate. A cassette (16) is provided in which several rock drilling crowns can be fitted releasably with the chisel cutters turned outwards. A mechanism permits the cassette and the grinding plate to be adjusted relatively to one another, and further components (17-19) rotate the cassette (16) in a plane through the centres of gravity of the crowns contained in it. A drive (20-25) causes the cassette to execute an eccentric rotary movement. |
