<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect instantly the quantity and the direction of the rotation speed, by using a generator linked to a steering system (tachogenerator) as a steering rotation detecting device to detect the rotation speed of the steering system. CONSTITUTION:The captioned device generates motor control signals by a motor control signal generating device 64 depending on the outputs of a steering torque detecting device 41 to detect the steering torque of the steering system and a steering rotation detecting device 45 to detect the rotation speed of the steering system. And the control signal is corrected in a correcting device 66 depending on the output of a power supply voltage detecting device 65, and a motor driving device 55 is controlled by the said control signal after correction. In this case, a generator 16a rotated linking to the input shaft of the steering device is used as a steering rotation detecting device 45, and one output terminal thereof is connected directly to an A/D converter 47, while the other terminal is connected to the A/D converter 47 through a constant voltage circuit 70.</p> |
