PURPOSE:The titled composition, consisting of a specific organopolysiloxane, organohydrogenpolysiloxane, methylsiloxane, etc., in a specific proportion, curable at room temperature, rich in tackiness and having good injection operability. CONSTITUTION:A sealing composition consisting of (A) 100pts.wt. organopolysiloxane, expressed by the formula (R<1> and R<2> are methyl or phenyl) and having 100-5,000cSt viscosity at 25 deg.C and diorganovinylsilyl groups at both molecular chain ends, (B) a compatible organohydrogenpolysiloxane, expressed by the formula Ra<3>HbSiO4-(a+b)/2 (R<3> is saturated monofunctional hyddrocarbon; a is 1.3-2.0; b is 0.02-1.0; a+b is 1.8-3.0) and having at least two identicalSiH groups in one molecule in an amount to give 0.4-2.0mol H (identicalSiH bond) linked to the silicon atom based on one mol vinyl group in the component (A), (C) 1-50pts.wt. methylsiloxane at 0.4-1/1 molar ratio [(CH3)4SiO0.5/SiO2@Q, (D) a platinum compound and (E) 0-5pts.wt. reaction inhibitor. |
