<p>PURPOSE:To decrease full length of a vehicle and reduce its weight, by arranging a fuel tank in a floor tunnel. CONSTITUTION:A fuel tank 1 is arranged in a floor tunnel 7 in an automobile of RR of FF type. The fuel tank 1 is mounted to a floor panel 6 by a tank band 10. Pipings 21 of brake, radiator, etc. are arranged in spaces 7A, 22A, etc. in a lower part of the floor panel 6. As the floor tunnel is used for the fuel tank, total length of a vehicle can be decreased by that amount, and weight of the vehicle can be reduced.</p> |
