摘要 A piston compressor (K) draws air through an air intake duct (7) and delivers this at a compression ratio of 1:22 to 1:45 by way of a non-return valve (10) into a combustion chamber (11). Fuel which is ignited spontaneously or by glow ignition is injected by way of an injection system (12). The exhaust gases thereby produced are led by way of a nozzle (14) to the blades (15) of a turbine (16). The latter is coupled by means of an infinitely variable, variable or fixed transmission (18) to the crankshaft (4) of the piston compressor (K). The output torque can be taken off the turbine shaft (17). Both the cylinder (1) of the piston compressor (K) and the surroundings of the combustion chamber (11), the housing of the turbine (16) and the exhaust duct of the turbine have the elements of an evaporation system passing through them, in which the waste heat produced is used for generating steam. The steam produced is led to a turbine, which is preferably seated on the shaft (17) of the turbine (16) fed by the exhaust gases from the combustion chamber (11). The device described can be used to drive mobile and fixed plant. <IMAGE>
