PURPOSE:To make the high speed recording possible by sufficiently increasing the density of coloration and the sensitivity of coloration and further to increase the degree of ground whiteness possible, by jointly utilizing the material having leuco dye and its developer with specific disulfide compound as an auxiliary component. CONSTITUTION:In the heat sensitive recording material utilizing the colorating reaction of leuco dye and developer, the disulfide compound represented by formula (1) is jointly used. In the formula (1), X and Y represent hydrogen atom, low class alkyl group, alcoxy group, aryl group, acyloxy group, aralkyl group or halogen atom and X and Y may be either the same or different, m and n independently represent the whole numbers of 0-3. This disulfide compound has high performance to dissolve developer and leuco dye when heated and by regulating the fusing point of said compound, the heat sensitive recording material of an optional sensitivity can be obtained. The amounts of leuco dye, developer, and coloring sensitivity increasing agent to be used should respectively be 5-10wt%, 20-60wt%, and 20-60wt%. |
