PURPOSE:In obtaining the titled substance by dehydrating 6- hydroxycyclodecanone in the presence of a basic amine and a catalyst, to use a sulfate heat-treated previously in the presence of an inert gas and a basic amine at a specific temperature, as a catalyst. CONSTITUTION:In obtaining the titled substance by dehydrating 6- hydroxycyclodecanone in the presence of a basic amine and a catalyst by a gaseous phase method at 260-320 deg.C, a sulfate (e.g., magnesium sulfate or calcium sulfate) previously heat-treated in the presence of an inert gas and a basic amine at 260-320 deg.C is used as a catalyst. Ammonia, an alkylamine, a heterocyclic amine, etc., may be cited as the basic amine, the amount of it used for pretreatment of the catalyst is 1-20mmol based on 10g catalyst and the amount of it for the dehydration reaction is 0.01-0.3mol based on 1mol raw material. EFFECT:A long catalytic life. USE:A raw material for sebasic acid. |
