The knife protection vest is lined and provided with shoulder straps. It contains one or more protection materials which protect the upper body against attack by knife, sharp instrument or blows. The protective material consists of at least two different material strips (8,9) each necessarily long for adequate overlap, being jointless and enclosing the complete upper body. They are wide enough o give full protection for the area from the abdomen to the throat. They are rolled together to give an undivided, multi-layered compact protective casing (10). The protective casing has a constant inner periphery along its whole length, matching the greatest peripheral measurement of the wearer under arm height. It can be moved upwards or downwards and fixed at the correct height between the abdomen and the throat. The protective casing upper part has recesses for the arms and the throat and the intermediate parts can be narrowed and shaped to the body with the upper part stagelessly reduced in periphery. |
