An earthing system for apparatus cubicles which contain electronic equipment constructed of vertical rails 2, horizontal rails 3 and connection rails 11 between the horizontal rails, all the rails being constructed of aluminium. At the connection points between the rails there are contact-making sprung contact plates 4. The contact plate 4 is rectangular and has contact tongues 6 arranged in rows which project out from the two sides of the contact plate. <IMAGE>
