It consists of a generally bell-shaped exterior 11 with a horizontal outward-turned rim 4 whose underside is provided with a flexible seal 6, a porous system consisting of a seat 5 made of an open-cell material bonded to a perforated partition 13 whose external shape is adapted to the internal shape of the exterior 11 to enable it to move vertically inside the latter, which creates two chambers, an upper chamber 12 and a lower chamber 8, when the device is placed on the object 7 which it is desired to cover, each of these chambers 12-8 being evacuable through valves 9-10 connected to a vacuum pump. <IMAGE> |
