PURPOSE:To minimize a heat energy loss resulting from ventilation, and to realize heating or cooling having a high energy saving effect, by a method wherein two vent passages, through which an indoor air and the open air flow in an opposite direction to each other in the direction of the axis of a pipe group, are made up of gaps between a number of pipe groups and internal holes of the each pipe group. CONSTITUTION:Along with driving rotation of a fan 9 by means of a motor 13, a polluted air in a chamber is forced to flow for exhaust as shown by a solid line to the outside through an exhaust passage 14 and the one vent passage 4 of a total heat exchanger 1, and a sensible heat and a latent heat, which the indoor air has, are recovered by a pipe group 3. Meanwhile, the fresh open air is forced to flow for suction as shown by a dotted line to the interior of a chamber through the other vent passage 5 of the total heat exchanger 1 and a suction passage 15, and in which case, a total heat recovered from the indoor air during flow within the vent passage 5 of the total heat exchanger 1 is absorbed, and subsequently, the air is heated or cooled to a desired temperature during passage through the total heat exchanger 2 to feed it to the interior of the chamber. |
