PURPOSE:To keep off such a drawback as getting a feeling of driving comfortableness worse due to overengagement in a clutch, etc., by installing a controller, which lets the clutch perform such a half-clutch motion that causes a car speed to come into a state of ultra-slow speed running, in an automatic clutch. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 4 detecting a speed of rotation in an input shaft in response to a car speed in order to detect the car speed in a highly accurate manner is installed in a driven side input shaft at the side of an automatic clutch 2. Output of a rotation sensor 4 is being inputted into a controller 5 together with an accelerator pedal operating angle signal and a transmission's gear step signal, and at the controller 5, it is so designed that an engine speed is controlled in response to the output of the sensor 4 and each of these signals, and a speed of rotation commensurate to the load is secured. A controller 8 is made to input a speed signal out of a pulse counter 6, the accelerator pedal operating angle signal and the transmission's gear step signal whereby a clutch signal to secure a most proper car speed is inputted into the automatic clutch in conformity with these signals. |
