Device for recovering heat and saving energy. The invention relates to a device which makes possible heat recovery via a separable and sealed coal or wood mixed furnace. It consists of a grate 37 which serves as burner. The ramps 39 allow the automatic descent of the coal towards a central furnace or towards a lateral double furnace. A flap 36 controls the flow of the latter and its closing separates the wood furnace and the coal furnace. The recovery device can be twinned, one part 1 bis for hot air, the other 1 for production of hot water.
