<p>NEW MATERIAL:Compounds of formula I, wherein X is -CH=CH-, -CONH-, -SO2-, etc.; Y is H, CH3, Cl, etc.; A1, A2 are each a group of formula II or III (wherein Z1 is H, Cl, CH3, OH, etc.); B1, B2 are each a group of formula IV or V (wherein Z3 is H, OH, NH2, Cl, etc.; Z4 is H, Cl, CH3, OH, OCH3, etc.; Z5 is H, a 1-4C alkyl, OH); M is H, Na, K, Li, NH4; f is 0, 1; m,n are each 0-2. EXAMPLE:Compd. of formula VI. USE:Hexakisazo dyes which dye cellulose, leather, etc. black. PREPARATION:A compd. of formula VII is tetrazotized and then coupled with a compd. of formula III. The resulting disazo dye is coupled with a diazotized product of a compd. of formula IX or X to obtain a tetrakisazo dye, which is then coupled with a compd. of formula XI or XII.</p> |
