<p>A device for applying screws (26) comprises a screwing system (1) provided with a drive motor (2), a feed system (4) for screws (26) held in a magazine-type strip (6) and two jaws (14, 15) movable in relation to one another for holding the screws (26) during tightening. The jaws (14, 15) are slidingly held in a guide (16) which runs transversely in relation to the screwing axis (7). The guide (16) for the jaws (14, 15) contains stops (17) which engage in the guide (16) transversely to the direction of movement of the jaws (14, 15). The jaws (14, 15) are spring-loaded by screw-springs along the screwing axis (7). The screw (26) is centred, throughout the screwing process, between the jaws (14, 15), thereby making it possible to apply the screws (26) in a precise position.</p> |
