<p>Present wheel systems for so-called on or off the road use or all weather vehicles have severe limitations because the wheels have an unchangeable surface, at least to the extent possible in a selectable surface system. This invention is for a wheel (1) capable of changing the traction surface (7) and track (2), (3), and (4) by varying the usual axes of rotation (X, Y, Z). The amount of this contacting surface can be varied while the path is varied from the usual linear contact to curvilinear contact. This change in the traction surface results in an increase in traction surface when necessary.</p> |
