<p>A hanging cord (5) is threaded through the top selvage (4) of the net or web (1) of a fishnet assembly and is secured at regularly spaced locations to separate anchor blocks (8) which, in turn, are secured to the fishnet corkline (2). The anchor blocks (8) have rigid bodies and swingable connectors (12, 14) with arms (14) projecting from the block bodies for attachment of the hanging cord (5) to the connector arms (14), such as by clips (9) clamping the hanging cord (5) and having pins (29) fitted through eyes (15) in the arms (14). The securing of the anchor blocks (8) to the corkline (2) can be by straps (18, 19) threaded through the block bodies and tightenable to clamp the blocks (8) to the corkline (2). The bottom selvage (6) of the net (1) can be connected to the lead line (3) in the same manner by threading a separate hanging cord (7) through the bottom selvage (6) and securing it at regularly spaced intervals to corresponding anchor blocks (8) clamped to the lead line (3).</p> |
