Roller arrangement in which a board (1) has a wheel (5) on one face side and a rotary linkage (3) on the other for attachment to a conventional or to a specially designed shopping trolley or luggage cart. A spring lever is so fixed to the board that it can easily be operated by foot and pressed against the wheel in a braking action. A pair of wheels can be used instead of a single wheel to prevent the board tipping over.
