<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed device in which adjustment against assembling errors or change with the lapse of hours is possible, and the height of a paper sheet bundle at the uppermost position is held fixed so as to surely feed a paper sheep. SOLUTION: When a paper sheet bundle P is raised and a pick up roller is moved upward, an upper limit detecting sensor 2 is shielded with a projecting part 3 provided on a roller supporting plate 1, so as to detect the uppermost position of the paper sheet bundle P on a fixed position. A sensor bracket 9 for fitting the upper limit detecting sensor 2 is fixed by means of a screw through a slotted hole 9a. Hence, by adjusting the position of the bracket 9 up and down, the position of the upper limit detecting sensor 2 can be adjusted, and hence the uppermost position of the paper sheet bundle P can be adjusted. Hereby, even when dispersion of the fitting position at assembling or change with the lapse of hours such as wear of the pick up roller 4 is generated, the uppermost position of the paper sheet bundle P is held at appropriate height, and hence block double feed or no feed of the paper sheet is not generated.</p> |
